The City of New Orleans is divided into eight NOPD districts, each headed by a district commander and with its own staff, mailing address and geographic jurisdication. The 8th District covers the French Quarter and Central Business District, including Harrah's Casino, Canal Place and Bourbon Street.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from the University of Florida in 1985, and worked in design and advertising for 15 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I married my college sweetheart, and we have two almost-grown children. I was born in Philadelphia, but happily consider myself a Florida girl, as I have lived in the beautiful Sunshine State nearly all my life. No longer a slave to client deadlines, I am happy to be creating just the art I want to create at this stage in my life. I love finding beauty in the ordinary--in fact, I rarely ever stage or set-up a photo because I find it's just not necessary. Wonderful images are all around us every day!
