The Don CeSar, sometimes referred to as The Pink Palace, is a magnificent hotel on the beautiful white sand beach of St Pete Beach, Florida. Designed by Henry Dupont and opened in 1928, the Mediterranean- and Moorish-influenced building has had an interesting life: housing the New York Yankees for their spring training during the Great Depression, serving as an Army military hospital during WWII, and being abandoned and nearly razed in the early 1970s. I love finding beauty in the ordinary--in fact, I rarely ever stage or set-up a photo because I find it's just not necessary. Wonderful images are all around us every day! PLEASE note that the Fine Art America watermark in the bottom...
