In the style of vintage travel posters, this pink and aqua square image beckons the vacationer to visit the beautiful Don CeSar hotel resort on St Pete Beach, Florida. Opened in 1928, this historic building was designed by Henry Dupont, blending both Mediterranean and Moorish styles of architecture. The hotel has a rich and varied history, serving as a hotel for the Jazz-age rich and famous, lodging for the New York Yankees baseball team during spring training, a military hospital, and a Veterans Administration office.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from the University of Florida in 1985, and worked in design and advertising for 15 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I married my college sweetheart, and we have two almost-grown children. I was born in Philadelphia, but happily consider myself a Florida girl, as I have lived in the beautiful Sunshine State nearly all my life. No longer a slave to client deadlines, I am happy to be creating just the art I want to create at this stage in my life. I love finding beauty in the ordinary--in fact, I rarely ever stage or set-up a photo because I find it's just not necessary. Wonderful images are all around us every day!
