Artist's Description
A child's refreshing summer moment captured in the magnificent backyard of the Medicis, the Boboli Gardens behind the Palazzo Pitti in Florence, Italy. Florence, like many Italian cities, has fountains and bubblers that run continuously to allow the public access to cool water during the hot summers.
About Valerie Reeves
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from the University of Florida in 1985, and worked in design and advertising for 15 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I married my college sweetheart, and we have two almost-grown children. I was born in Philadelphia, but happily consider myself a Florida girl, as I have lived in the beautiful Sunshine State nearly all my life. No longer a slave to client deadlines, I am happy to be creating just the art I want to create at this stage in my life. I love finding beauty in the ordinary--in fact, I rarely ever stage or set-up a photo because I find it's just not necessary. Wonderful images are all around us every day!
