The beach is calling and I must go. There are some places in the world that speak to us. Where we feel whole. Where we can be refreshed, renewed and restored. For some people it is the mountains, for others of us, it is the place where the ocean meets the shore.
About Valerie Reeves
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from the University of Florida in 1985, and worked in design and advertising for 15 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I married my college sweetheart, and we have two almost-grown children. I was born in Philadelphia, but happily consider myself a Florida girl, as I have lived in the beautiful Sunshine State nearly all my life. No longer a slave to client deadlines, I am happy to be creating just the art I want to create at this stage in my life. I love finding beauty in the ordinary--in fact, I rarely ever stage or set-up a photo because I find it's just not necessary. Wonderful images are all around us every day!
